What the
doctors say
« LED photobiomodulation is one of the few technologies validated in the literature for collagen stimulation. The 8-week results match what we observe in clinical practice. »
« This type of 7-in-1 device enables a combination of wavelengths that few aesthetic clinics can offer. The associated microcurrent significantly potentiates the firming effect. »
« Red light at 630–660 nm and infrared at 830 nm have documented anti-inflammatory effects. For mature skin, it is a protocol I recommend as a complement. »
« The combination of photobiomodulation and microcurrent is synergistic. We observe firming effects that, in clinic, would require several weekly sessions. »
« The 850 nm near-infrared penetrates deeply into the dermis. This explains the effects on facial contour observed after 4 to 6 weeks of regular use. »

What you want to know before buying.
Is this product really made for me?
If you are 20–34 years old and your skin has been causing you problems for too long — enlarged pores, uneven complexion, recurring blemishes, radiance that never comes back — Lumina is not just another product to add to your routine. It is the protocol that targets the root causes: chronic inflammation, slowed cell renewal, dysregulated sebum production. "I've tried everything and it always comes back." That's exactly what it's made for.
If you are 35 or older and you're starting to see things you didn't want to see — a wrinkle settling in, a jawline losing definition slightly, a more tired-looking gaze, a complexion turning dull — Lumina works on exactly those mechanisms. Not to erase them in a week. To slow them down, soften them, and with consistency, gradually reverse them. "I look tired even when I'm not." / "I feel less like myself in the mirror."
In both cases: if you're expecting spectacular results in 7 days, this is not the right product. Lumina works the way skin regenerates — in depth, over time. Those who stay consistent for 8 weeks see what others miss.
Why Lumina and not another LED device?
Most LED masks sold online feature only 1 to 3 fixed wavelengths. Lumina Glow© combines 7 in a single protocol — red LED 630 nm, near-infrared 850 nm, EMS, radiofrequency, sonic vibrations, blue photons and amber light — each targeting a different ageing mechanism.
The concrete difference: an LED mask works on the surface. Lumina works on the surface and on the deep dermis. That is what explains the effect on firmness and facial contour, not just radiance.
Another point: full-face masks require 20 to 30 minutes of immobility. Lumina is used for 8 minutes per zone while watching TV or reading. Consistency — the key to results — is therefore much easier to maintain.
When will I see a real difference?
Day 1–28: Radiance and skin tone evenness improve first. Your skin looks more luminous, less dull. This is often when the first comments from people around you arrive.
Weeks 4–6: Undereye bags, dark circles and blemishes begin to fade. The eyes look more rested.
Weeks 7–8: Firmness and facial contour become perceptible. Deep wrinkles soften. This is the deepest effect — the one that takes the longest but lasts the most.
These data are based on published studies on photobiomodulation. Results vary by age, skin type and regularity of use.
Is the science behind it marketing or real?
LED photobiomodulation (PBM) is a technology used in clinical dermatology since the 1990s. It is the subject of more than 3,000 studies published in peer-reviewed journals (PubMed, JAMA Dermatology, Lasers in Surgery and Medicine).
What is proven by the literature: +37% collagen density at day 56 (red + NIR combined), −29% wrinkle depth at day 28, +19% tissue firmness at 12 weeks.
These results come from independent studies, not internal Lumina studies. See the references →
Does it work at my age? I'm over 55.
Yes — with one important nuance. Photobiomodulation stimulates collagen production, which works at any age. But after 55, skin regenerates more slowly: allow 2 to 4 additional weeks before seeing effects on firmness.
Our most enthusiastic customers are often between 58 and 65. Precisely because their skin had the most to recover — and the results, when they come, are the most visible.
What you won't recover: skin like a 25-year-old. What you can recover: firmer, more luminous skin that looks more like you.
Can I use it on sensitive skin, rosacea or after a peel?
Sensitive skin: yes, in the vast majority of cases. Start with red LED mode only (without EMS or RF) for the first two weeks.
Rosacea: red light at 630 nm is often recommended for its anti-inflammatory effects. Consult your dermatologist if your rosacea is at an advanced stage.
After a peel or laser: wait 2 to 4 weeks after any aggressive procedure before resuming Lumina.
Absolute contraindications: photosensitising treatments (Roaccutane, certain antibiotics), photosensitive epilepsy, active electronic implants (pacemaker). If in doubt, ask your doctor's advice.
What if I'm not consistent in my use?
That's the honest question to ask yourself. Photobiomodulation works through accumulation — each session reinforces the effects of the previous one. If you skip 2 weeks, results stall. Some customers have seen this directly by comparing their photos.
What helps: Lumina only requires 8 minutes. While watching a series, on the phone, before going to sleep. No elaborate ritual needed.
Our advice: 5 sessions per week minimum. Not necessarily every day. But you need to stay consistent — that is the only condition.
What if I see no results? What happens?
You have 60 days to test and decide. If you are not satisfied — for any reason — we refund you in full, with no need to justify, no hidden conditions.
The device is covered by a 2-year warranty against any manufacturing defect.
Our experience: the return rate is below 3%. Not because we make the process complicated, but because most customers see something — even those who were the most sceptical.
Can I use it during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
As a precautionary measure, we advise against use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Not because a risk is certain — no study reports any negative effect — but because no specific study has been conducted on this population either. Resume after breastfeeding.
How long does the device last? Do I need to buy consumables?
The device is designed for 50,000 hours of LED use — more than 50 years at one session per day. There are no consumables, no cartridges, no subscription.
The serum included in the Korean Glow© cure lasts approximately 3 months with daily application. It can be replenished separately.

Lumina was born from a simple observation: photobiomodulation (therapeutic LED) has been used for decades in clinical dermatology, but remained inaccessible at home · too bulky, too expensive, too complex. We condensed 7 clinically validated wavelengths into a 180-gram device, designed to fit into your evening routine.
Our team collaborates with dermatologists and physicists specialised in photonics to ensure that every parameter · wavelength, irradiance, duration · matches the protocols published in the scientific literature. View our clinical studies →

I'm 54 and my eye wrinkles had bothered me for years. My dermatologist told me there wasn't much to be done without injections. I ordered Lumina almost out of desperation. 8 weeks later the same dermatologist asked what I'd changed in my routine. He wrote down the device name.

Dark circles since my two pregnancies -- 8 years ago. I'd arrange to never be photographed head-on. 5 weeks with Lumina and for the first time in a long while I didn't turn down the Christmas family photo. My mother-in-law noticed something different without knowing what.

My skin had been dull for years. A neighbor had Lumina for 3 months -- I compared her before/after photos and ordered. Results take time at this age. From week 6 I started noticing something. At 10 weeks my complexion looks like it did 10 years ago.
She asked what skincare I'd added. I smiled and showed her the device. Wrinkle results are slightly slower than I'd hoped but the radiance is genuinely visible from week 4.
My husband never comments on my skincare. Never. Three weeks after starting Lumina he asked if I'd changed my cream. I chose not to tell him it was a $200 device -- he would have been skeptical. The complexion results were visible from week 2.
Sun spots accumulated over the years. My dermatologist had suggested laser at $400 per session. I wanted to try Lumina first. 2 months later the spots are less dark -- not gone but clearly faded. The laser can wait.
A gift from my daughter for my 62nd birthday. She was afraid I'd put it in a drawer -- she was partly right. First two weeks I nearly gave up. By week 4 something changed. By 12 weeks the frown lines have really reduced.
My eyes had looked tired for years. My husband asked if I'd changed my mascara. No -- my eyes just look less puffy. It wasn't my main goal but it's the reaction that touched me most.
I was consulting about a mini-facelift. The surgeon advised me to try photobiomodulation first. I bought Lumina. 5 weeks later the jawline is more defined and my complexion more luminous. The surgeon said results were good and pushed my follow-up to 6 months.
After 5 weeks on my face I started using it on my neck. Unexpected result -- the decollete skin responded too. Not a bonus I'd anticipated. My aesthetician noticed something different around my neck at my last treatment.
The first 8 weeks I nearly gave up -- no visible results. I kept going out of stubbornness. At 10 weeks my jawline noticeably firmed. At 12 weeks my skin is firmer than I'd hoped for at 64. Patience is rewarded.
She called to thank me. We both use it now -- almost as a ritual. What convinced me to give it to her is that my own results took 6 weeks to appear -- but since then they've been consistent.
My frown lines had made me stop really looking in the mirror. For the first time in years this morning I looked and saw someone I recognized. That means something at 58.
That's not what I bought Lumina for -- I wanted to work on radiance. Enlarged pores and mild acne responded from week 3. Wrinkle results less visible at my age which makes sense. But the complexion effect was unexpected and welcome.
Luminous complexion and more rested face -- people ask if I've just come back from vacation. The first time it happened I realized that was exactly the effect I wanted. One funny note: the app actually is in English.
Young mom with little time for myself. I chose Lumina because it was 8 minutes while watching TV -- effortless. 6 weeks later my husband asks if I've changed my cream. The wrinkle effect is subtler than hoped but on radiance and visible fatigue it's perfect.
After years without sun protection my face was covered in spots. In 2 months they've noticeably faded. I'm getting back an even complexion I hadn't had in a long time. My aesthetician asked what I'd changed in my skincare routine.
I'm the oldest in my group of friends using Lumina. 12 weeks of consistency delivered results I'd stopped hoping for. A friend who's 52 now looks at me differently. I'll take that as the best compliment.
From the second week I noticed a different radiance. By 8 weeks my husband thought I'd had something done at the salon. I told him no -- just Lumina every evening. He asked how much it cost. I told him a little less than one laser session.
I expected faster results -- first few weeks I was disappointed. Forehead lines have reduced and my complexion is more luminous. My husband noticed something without me telling him. That's the right measure for knowing it's working.
