Our Commitment
At Lumina by Days Edits, your satisfaction is our priority. This policy outlines your legal rights regarding returns as well as the additional commercial guarantee we offer. For any questions, please contact us at megad6222@gmail.com.
1. Legal 14-Day Withdrawal Right
In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the Consumer Code and Directive 2011/83/EU, you have a fourteen (14) calendar day withdrawal period starting from the date you receive your order, without needing to justify a reason or pay penalties.
Procedure:
- Send your withdrawal request by email to megad6222@gmail.com, specifying your name, order number, and your decision to withdraw. You may use the standard withdrawal form provided by law (available in the appendix of the Terms and Conditions);
- You then have an additional 14 days to return the product to us;
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, complete (device, accessories, manual, protective glasses), and must not have been used excessively beyond what is necessary to assess its nature and characteristics;
- Return shipping costs are your responsibility;
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned package, using the same payment method as the original order.
2. 28-Day “Satisfied or Refunded” Commercial Guarantee
In addition to your legal rights, Days Edits offers an extended commercial guarantee: you may return your Lumina Glow 4.0 within twenty-eight (28) calendar days following receipt if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase.
This commercial guarantee is exercised under the same conditions as the legal withdrawal right (email notification, return in original condition, return shipping costs at your expense). It does not limit your legal rights and is in addition to them.
3. 2-Year Legal Warranty of Conformity
Regardless of the withdrawal right and commercial guarantee, you benefit from the legal warranty of conformity provided under Articles L.217-4 and following of the Consumer Code, lasting two (2) years from the delivery of the product.
In case of non-conformity (product not matching the description, malfunction at delivery or within 24 months after delivery), you may request:
- Repair or replacement of the product (at the Customer’s choice, within the limits set by Article L.217-9 of the Consumer Code);
- A price reduction or contract cancellation if repair or replacement is impossible or disproportionate.
To exercise this warranty, contact us at megad6222@gmail.com including your order number, a description of the defect, and if possible, photos. Return shipping costs are covered by the Seller under the legal warranty of conformity.
4. Legal Warranty Against Hidden Defects
You also benefit from the warranty against hidden defects provided by Article 1641 of the Civil Code. If a hidden defect makes the product unfit for its use or significantly reduces its use, you may choose between returning the product for a full refund or keeping the product with a partial refund. The claim must be made within two years from the discovery of the defect.
5. Exclusions
The following products are excluded from the withdrawal right and commercial guarantee:
- Returned incomplete, damaged, or with irreparably damaged original packaging;
- Returned after the deadlines mentioned above;
- Showing signs of use incompatible with a simple trial (makeup traces, cosmetic products, physical damage).
These exclusions do not apply in cases of non-conformity or hidden defects.
